Wellness Wednesday – Tape
There are a variety of reasons to use tape in the athletic training field, ranging from correcting posture, supporting muscles and tendons, and even providing stability to these areas of need.
Taping gives support to weaker areas of the body while also working to reduce the motions that are causing the person pain. There are also instances that it can alleviate fatigue, protect against fatigue, while also looking to ensure there is no over-extension and contraction.
This weekend, Recovery Day will be providing the full scope of our taping abilities. We plan to offer KT (kinesiology) tape in an effort to support those postural and muscular issues. In addition, we are bringing out the truly white-tape to provide that stability that we know is needed for CrossFit competitions!
